Histomoniasis (also known as blackhead disease) is a serious condition affecting chickens, turkeys, and other poultry. It often goes undetected until it’s too late — but early diagnosis can save lives and prevent spread.

Through this project, we’re offering low-cost testing so you can easily collect and submit droppings from your flock. Samples are processed through our partner lab, and anonymised results help us build a national picture of where this disease is showing up.
